Multiple internship roles at Meine Electric

Job description

• Internship duration is 2 months starting May 2026 in Chennai, focused on Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) and Iron-Air Battery technology.
• High-performing interns will be considered for full-time PPO opportunities after completion.
• Mechanical Engineering: Support battery stack/module design, CAD and technical drawings, prototyping, assembly, and Design for Assembly with vendors.
• Power Electronics: Contribute to EMS and battery electronics architecture, PCB design and debugging, power conversion, and communication protocols such as CAN and I2C.
• Electrochemistry & Material Science: Develop and optimize electrodes, run DOE for compositions and electrolyte additives, and assist synthesis/coating of active materials.
• Powder Metallurgy: Optimize one-of-a-kind iron anode manufacturing, execute DOE for powder workflows, and analyze porosity/density/structural integrity.
• Process Engineering: Streamline workflows, optimize equipment, identify assembly/material bottlenecks, and develop SOPs across multidisciplinary teams.
